About 100 patrons attended a Davis Wiebe potluck dinner Sunday at Cottonwood Grove Christian School. The potluck was in honor of Joseph and Brenda (Wiebe) Johnson and family of Fawns Dale, Alabama, and Orin and Rose (Wiebe) Koehn, of New Plymouth, Idaho. The Johnsons and Koehns were houseguests of Richard and Charlotte Wiebe before returning home Monday.

Harry and Sheryle Rhodes, Merlin and Karletta Wiebe, Jerold and Rhonda Koehn, Mitch and Carol Unruh, and Ransom and Lillian Wiebe were among the people who attended a church conference Thursday through Saturday in Dodge City. Ransom and Lillian left early to see Lillian’s sister, Anita Schmidt and her husband Ken Schmidt on Wednesday for an afternoon visit and supper.

Clayton and Betty Wiebe had cousins Douglas and Wilma Unruh of Versailles, Missouri, for a March 16 dinner. The Unruhs were overnight guests.

Roy and Nadine Davis traveled to Lakin for the March 16 wedding reception of Roy’s cousin, Velda Unruh and Harlan Williams, who were married several weeks ago in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

Ron and Dora Unruh and Ken Pankratz attended a memorial service for their aunt Dorothy Siebel on Friday at First Mennonite Brethren Church in Wichita.

Larry and Wanda Koehn entertained Leonard and Dianne Peachy and family as well as Dianne’s parents Lynn and Aby Wedel of Kentucky, and Clayton and Betty Wiebe over supper on March 17.

Josh and Katelin Hendricks were Friday and Saturday guests of Mark and Barb Unruh.
