GOESSEL GOAL GETTERS

Goessel Goal Getters 4-H Club met July 6 at West Branch Park. Roll call was “Something I can do at the fair that shows good character.”

It was announced that the Marion County Fair would start July 27 and run the rest of the week.

Members were encouraged to sell tickets for chances to win a half a hog or tickets to a Kansas State University football game.

Matthew Regier gave a talk on “How to prepare a photo for the fair.” Members presented a project that would be entered at the county fair.

The meeting was adjourned. Refreshments followed.

The 4-H club met Sunday at McPherson Swimming Pool for its August meeting.

Members swam for two hours.

The meeting was conducted in a picnic area with 61 people in attendance.
