Happy Hustlers

Tripp Peterson gave a talk on how to make dessert dirt cups when the Happy Hustlers 4-H Club met May 3 at Marion County Lake Hall.

Fourteen members, including six parents and four leaders, answered the roll call by naming the first thing they will do when school lets out.

Noah Schmidt led the flag salute and Eli Groening led the 4-H pledge.

The club treasurer reported a balance of $2148.15 in the club account.

Happy birthday to May birthdays and This Little Light of Mine were led by music leader Jaxon Salsbury.

Recreation leader Ryker Salsbury led a game of freeze tag.

Several important upcoming dates were noted. The next council representative meeting will be May 10. A horse project meeting will be 9 a.m. May 15 and the Tri-County fair will be July 9-11.

Marion County Fair will be July 17-24.

The next 4-H club meeting will be June 7.
