‘Andy’ Linn

A graveside service for Andrew Ray “Andy” Linn, 45, who passed away Aug. 4, 2025, was Wednesday, Aug. 13, at Greenwood Cemetery.

A reception followed at Popeye’s on 12th and Hillside Sts. in Wichita, where his work family is located. All who knew Andy were welcome to attend and honor his life.

Andy, born May 18, 1980, in Wichita, was known for his quiet kindness, gentle humor, and deep love of comics. At Popeye’s, he was a steady presence and a friendly face to many.

Andy was quiet, silly, smart, and always ready with a subtle joke or random fact. Though our paths took different directions, he has always been and will always remain a part of the lives of those who remember him, and we will be forever grateful for the time we shared.

He is survived by stepmother Cheryl Linn; sister Jessica Coplin (and husband Jared); stepsister Tami Wiley (and husband Mike); brother Tim Linn (and wife Stephanie); aunts Ramona McCrory (and husband Jeffrey), Barb Creamer (and husband Larry), and Betty Loney (and husband Tom); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by father Lonny Linn, mother Karen Harding, brother Matthew Linn, and his grandparents and other family members.

His presence will be missed but his spirit will live on in the stories we tell and the laughter he inspired.

We are grateful to those who join us in remembering Andy and celebrating the life he lived.
