A wiener roast in the Hillsboro park on Aug. 30 was a celebration of Gus Hamm’s birthday. Family there were Gus and Mildred Hamm, Jim, Merna and Morgane Hamm of Tampa, Gaylord and Valera Hamm of Durham, Arlene Pankratz and Marcella Mohn of Hillsboro, and Tim and Donna Diener of Hillsboro.

Many from Hillsboro attended the Durham Baptist Church Sunday School picnic at the Durham Park on Aug. 28. Kem and Autumn Chisholm brought homemade ice cream.

Randy Hamm from Kansas City and the Dave Schrag family from Lindsborg spent Aug. 27 at the home of Gus Hamm to help celebrate his birthday.
