The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:

100 block of South Lincoln, Marion

Jaclyn E. DeForest, 17, 1262 Wagon Wheel Rd., Florence, was backing northeast in the 100 block of South Lincoln St., Marion, in a 2003 Ford Focus at 11:40 a.m. Sept. 22, and struck a 1996 Chevrolet passenger car, driven by Heather S. Fine, 16, 211 N. First St., Marion. The Ford was registered to Charles DeForest, of the same address as the driver. The Chevrolet was registered to Richard Fine, of the same address as the driver. There were no injuries and less than $1,000 in damages.

Diamond Road near U.S. 56

A 1992 Chevrolet CRS, driven by Juanita Furrer, 24, 559 E. 210th Road, Lehigh, was northbound on Diamond Road near U.S. 56 at 1 p.m. Sept. 24, when the driver lost control on loose gravel and slid into an east ditch. The driver was transported by LifeTeam to Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.

190th Road near Old Mill

Barbara Lewis, 57, 324 N. Freeborn St., Marion, was eastbound on 190th Road near Old Mill in a 2004 Ford F-150 pickup at 11:15 a.m. Oct. 4, when the vehicle was driven too close to the edge of the road, causing it to drive in a ditch and strike a sign and post. There were no injuries and more than $1,000 in damages.

Falcon Road near U.S. 56

A deer was struck by a 2003 Dodge pickup at 4:20 a.m. Oct. 5 near Falcon Road and U.S. 56, driven by Timothy L. Goosen, 45, 2172 Falcon Road, Hillsboro. The driver was not injured and there was more than $1,000 in damages.
