The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:

U.S. 77 near mile marker 99:

Marcus C. Meeker, 29, Manhattan, was northbound in on U.S. 77 near mile marker 99 in a 2004 Chevrolet pickup at 7:55 p.m. Oct. 11, when a deer entered the roadway and was struck.

Marye Meeker, 28 and Avarye Meeker, infant, of the same address, were passengers in the pickup. Damages were estimated at more than $1,000 and no injuries were reported.

120th Road near Bison Road:

Howard C. Birkey, 68, Newton, was eastbound on 120th Road near Bison Road in a 2009 Toyota passenger car at 4 p.m. Oct. 14, when a dog entered the roadway and was stuck. Damages were estimated at more than $1,000 and no injuries were reported.

250th Road near Xavier Road:

James R. Branson-Thornhill, 25, 2211 Yarrow Road, Marion, lost control of a 2002 Ford pickup at 8 a.m. Oct. 16, went into the south ditch, through a fence, struck a cattle guard bridge, back through the fence and hit the embankment of the ditch. Branson-Thornhill left the scene and failed to report the accident.

150th Road near Falcon Road:

Michele M. Sullivan, 41, 117 A Road, Goessel, was eastbound on 150th Road near Falcon Road in a 2005 Chevrolet passenger car at 8:15 a.m. Oct. 17 when a deer came from a south ditch and was struck. Damages were estimated at more than $1,000 and no injuries were reported.

U.S. 50 near Yarrow Road:

Ashley R. Hudson, 22, Newton, was westbound on U.S. 50 near Yarrow Road in a 1992 Lincoln Towncar, at 11:07 p.m. Oct. 18 when a deer came from a south ditch and was struck. Vehicle was registered to Tammy and Davis Hudson, Baldwin. Dylan Marquis, 3, Newton, was a passenger in the car. Damages were estimated at more than $1,000 and no injuries were reported.

K-150:

Keith G. Goossen, 51, 771 E. 110th, Peabody, was eastbound on K-150 in a 1998 Dodge pickup at 7:20 a.m. Oct. 20, when a deer came from a north ditch and was stuck. Damages were estimated at more than $1,000 and no injuries were reported.
