The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:
U.S. 77 near milemarker 91:
Jeremy Bice, 31, of Junction City, was southbound on U.S. 77 in a 2003 Saturn Ion at 8 p.m. Nov. 1, when a deer ran from a west ditch and was struck. Amanda Scott, 28, of El Dorado was a passenger and the owner of the Saturn.
Damages were estimated at more than $1,000 and no injuries were reported.
U.S. 77 near Nighthawk Road:
Michelle R. Glahn, 46, of 1751 Nighthawk Road, Marion, was westbound on U.S. 77 near Nighthawk Road in a 2003 Hyunda passenger car at 6:10 a.m. Nov. 5, when a deer ran from a south ditch and was struck.
Damages were estimated at more than $1,000 and no injuries were reported.
U.S. 77 near 140th Road:
Joyce A. Padgett, 66, of 2313 140th Road, was making a left turn onto 140th Road in a 1975 International truck at 1:10 p.m. Nov. 7, when Brandon R. Wurz, 20, of Salina, tried to pass in a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe, and struck the truck.
Damages were estimated at more than $1,000 and no injuries were reported.
K-15 near 250th Road:
Aaron G. Hickert, 20, of 1576 1100 Ave., Hope, was southbound on K-15 near 250th Road in a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 8, when a deer ran from a west ditch and was struck.
Damages were estimated at more than $1,000 and no injuries were reported.
190th Road near Limestone Road:
William J. Manuel, 62, of 708 E. F St., Hillsboro, was westbound on 190th Road near Limestone Road in a 2006 Chevrolet C15 pickup at 5 p.m. Nov. 9, when a deer ran from a north ditch and was struck.
Damages were estimated at more than $1,000 and no injuries were reported.
U.S. 50 near Alfalfa Road:
Jane M. Klumpp, 23, of Traverse City, Mich., was westbound on U.S. 50, in a 2003 Dodge Durango at 11:40 a.m. Nov. 10, she apparently fell asleep. When the vehicle crossed the roadway and went on the south shoulder. The driver lost control of the vehicle and overturned. The Dodge was registered to Brian M. Klumpp, same address as driver.
Klumpp was taken to St. Luke Hospital of Marion by Florence ambulance with possible injuries.
Indigo Road near 170th Road:
Clark M. Davis, 62, 102 W. Fifth St., Tampa, was southbound on Indigo Road near 170th Road in a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am at 4:15 p.m. Nov. 10, when a deer ran from an east ditch and was struck.
Damages were estimated at more than $1,000 and no injuries were reported.
U.S. 56 near Old Mill Road:
Preston D. Murphy, 28, of El Dorado, was eastbound on U.S. 56 near Old Mill Road in a 1998 Jeep Cherokee at 10:50 p.m. Nov. 10, when a deer ran from a south ditch and was struck. Jereka A. Farner, 32, of El Dorado and Beth Piper, 24, of El Dorado, were passengers in the Jeep. Corliss A. Graves, of El Dorado, was the registered owner of the Jeep.
Damages were estimated at more than $1,000 and no injuries were reported.
K-156 near milemarker six:
Justin Hiller, 16, of Canton, was eastbound on K-156 in a 1998 Chevrolet Silverado truck at 7:15 a.m. Nov. 12, when a deer ran from a south ditch and was struck. Paul Hiller, 55, of Canton, was a passenger in the truck and owner of the vehicle.
Damages were estimated at more than $1,000 and no injuries were reported.
140th Road near Nighthawk Road:
Amanda A. Huffman, 18, 1374 Quail Creek Road, Marion, was westbound on 140th Road near Nighthawk Road in a 2008 passenger car registered to David Huffman, Oklahoma City, Okla., at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 12, when she lost control on the rock road and went into a north ditch hitting a power pole and flipping the car one time. Huffman was transported by Marion EMS to St. Luke Hospital, Marion.
K-15 near 270th Road:
Timothy B. Koehn, 28, of 706 Santa Fe St., Durham, was northbound on K-15 near 270th Road in a 2003 GMC pickup that was pulling a trailer at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 13 when a deer ran from a west ditch and was struck.
Damages were estimated at more than $1,000 and no injuries were reported.
U.S. 56 near milemarker 295:
Dana J. Clark, 51, of McPherson, was westbound on U.S. 56 in a 2007 Chevrolet C15 pickup at 5:45 p.m. Nov. 15, when a deer ran from a north ditch and was struck. Katie J. Clark, 21, of McPherson, Christy J. Randa, 27, and Allison Randa, 1, both of Kansas City, Mo., were passengers in the pickup. Pickup was registered to Randy Clark, of McPherson.
Damages were estimated at more than $1,000 and no injuries were reported.
U.S. 56/ 77/K-150 intersection:
Alesia L. Lord, 46, of Madison, was westbound on U.S. 56 in a 2003 Toyota passenger car at 7:01 p.m. Nov. 14, when she stopped at the intersection and then pulled out in front of a 2006 Dodge pickup truck driven by Callie J. Williams, 22, of Olsburg. The two vehicles collided. Alette Dean and Bethene Lord, no ages listed, both of Madison, were passengers in the Toyota. All four passengers were transported to St. Luke Hospital by Marion EMS with possible injuries.
1700 S. Sunflower Road, Marion:
Christina Newell, 31, of 249 W. 10th St., Florence, was northbound on Sunflower Road in a 1996 Ford van at 8:23 p.m. Nov. 15, when a deer ran from a ditch and was struck.
Damages were estimated at less than $1,000 and no injuries were reported.
