Car strikes fence in 500 block of Grand Avenue, Hillsboro

Charissa Y. Benda, 21, 310 Fink St., Marion, was turning into a parking stall at 5:05 p.m. Aug. 3, when her 1992 Chevrolet Caprice struck a wooden fence, knocking it down.

Car hits building in 300 block of North Ash Street, Hillsboro

Michelle Sullivan, 42, 117 A Road, Goessel, was backing in the parking lot in the 300 block of North Ash Street, Hillsboro, at 4 a.m. Aug. 17, when her 2005 Chevrolet passenger car struck the siding of the building.

Car rolls over on 360th Road near Nighthawk

Amanda Michelle Radke, 29, 303 N. B St., Ramona, was injured when her 2000 Chrysler van rolled when she tried to avoid a deer at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 20 on 360th Road near Nighthawk. She was transported by private vehicle to Herington Municipal Hospital.

Car leaves road on K-15 near 230th Road

A 2001 Chevrolet passenger car, driven by Phillip Douglas Miller, 27, 206 S. Madison St., Hillsboro, left the road on K-15 near 230th Road at 7:05 a.m. Aug. 21, entered an east ditch, went across the highway, and came to rest in a west ditch. The driver was transported to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

Two cars collide on U.S. 56 at Indigo Road, Hillsboro

Olivia Yvonne Kliewer, 16, 505 S. Lincoln St., Hillsboro, was stopped in a 2001 Ford Mustang on U.S. 56 to turn left on Indigo Road at 1 p.m. Aug. 21 when a 1998 Pontiac Grand Am, driven by Ashley Nicole Stevenson, 19, of Great Bend, failed to stop in time, and hit the Kliewer vehicle in the rear. Daryl W. Kliewer, 51, of the same address as the driver, was a passenger in the Mustang. There were no injuries.
