100 block of North Lincoln Street, Marion

Virginia A. Hammond, 72, 111 N. Lincoln St., Marion, was backing her 2005 Ford passenger car at 2:15 p.m. March 10 from a drive in the 100 block of North Lincoln St., Marion, when it struck 2003 Chrysler Cruiser owned by Jeanice B. Thomas, 222 N. Cedar St., Marion that was legally parked on the street.

Upland Road near 180th

Donald L. Alcorn, 70, 71 Lakeshore Road, Marion, was driving north in a 1994 Ford van on Upland Road at 11:50 a.m. March 28, when he crossed the center line and collided with a 2006 Ford truck driven by Joseph J. Sklenar, 75, 10 Lois Lane, Marion, breaking mirrors on both vehicles.

200 block of South Main Street, Hillsboro

Walter Kleinsasser, 88, 312 S. Adams St., Hillsboro, was northbound on Main Street near B Street, Hillsboro, in a 1997 Pontiac passenger car at 12:30 p.m. April 1, when his vehicle struck the rear of a parked 1997 Ford pickup, owned by Rodney Wedel, Newton.

701 S. Main St., Hillsboro

A 1997 Pontiac passenger car received scratches and small dents on the passenger side while parked in a parking lot at 701 S. Main St., Hillsboro. The accident was reported April 2 by Megan LeeAnn Pauls, 415 S. Main St., Apt. 7, Hillsboro.

U.S. 50, one mile east of Peabody

Two people died April 1 in a two-vehicle crash one mile east of Peabody on U.S. 50. Markus L. Ivy, 37, and Sarah M. Esgro, 32, both of Wichita, died at the scene when their westbound 2006 Saturn passenger car crossed the center line, sideswiping a 2005 Freightliner, driven by Michael J. Dorrian, 64, Savage, Minn., at 7:03 p.m. Owen L. Nave, 30, Wichita, was injured and transported by air ambulance to Wesley Medical Center.
