310th west of K-15

Joy Renae Waldbauer, 52, 460 310th, Durham, was driving westbound on 310th at 8:30 p.m. Oct. 13 when she hit a cow standing in the middle of the road. No injuries were reported. She was driving her 2003 Ford sedan.

Birch and B streets, Hillsboro

George Glen, 57, 210 S. Prospect, Lehigh, struck Donald Clyde Graumann, 80, 215 S. Birch St., Hillsboro, in the side at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 5 after Graumann failed to yield at the intersection of Birch and B streets. Glen was driving his 2008 Chrysler. Graumann was driving his 1993 Ford. Graumann was cited for failure to yield.

F and Main streets, Hillsboro

Richard E. Lake, 75, 2149 Schlotthauer, Marion, backed out of a parking space and into Elva Holub, 88, 405 N. Topeka, Lincolnville, at 11 a.m. Sept. 20 at the intersection of F and Main streets. Lake was driving his 2008 Toyota. Holub was driving her 1999 Pontiac. Both vehicles had minor damage.

Goldenrod south of U.S. 56

Ashley J. Sheridan, 31, 111 Maria St., Lehigh, was stopped at 4:05 p.m. Oct. 14 at the stop sign at the intersection of Goldenrod and U.S. 56 when Roger C. Ashley, 48, 108 N. Madison St., Hillsboro, struck her from behind. No injuries were reported. Sheridan was driving her 2011 Chrysler sedan. Ashley was driving a vehicle registered to the City of Lehigh.

K-15 south of 120th

Chester Ray Roberts, 64, 2613 Goldenrod, North Newton, was driving southbound at 7:18 p.m. Oct. 17 on K-15 when two deer ran out of the east ditch in front of him. He struck one of the deer. No injuries were reported. He was driving his 2009 Buick sedan.

U.S. 50 west of Yarrow

Paula D. Sims, 47, 8933 N.E. 72nd St., Walton, was driving eastbound at 7:15 a.m. Oct. 19 when deer jumped from the north ditch, striking her vehicle’s front. No injuries were reported. She was driving her 2008 Ford pickup.

U.S. 77 north of 180th

Kevin Derrick Rich, 20, B Troop 4/4 Cavalry Building 7610 Room 251, Fort Riley, was driving northbound at 7:20 p.m. Oct. 14 on U.S. 77 when he fell asleep and went off the roadway. He overcorrected to the left, then the right. His 1998 Toyota went sideways into the east ditch and rolled over three times. No injuries were reported.

Washington Street north of Grand Avenue, Hillsboro

Rick Allen Koehn, 34, 630 290th, Durham, was sitting in a private drive with his vehicle running and in gear. The vehicle rolled forward and struck a garage door after he fell asleep. He was driving his 2000 GMC.
