The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:

U.S. 56 near mile marker 289:

Alex L. Nuss, 20 of 1082 U.S. 56, Hillsboro, hit a deer with a 2000 Chevrolet Camary at 10:10 a.m. July 19.

Damage was estimated at more than $1,000. The vehicle was registered to Dale Nuss, of the same address. Aaron Burnett, Newton, was a passenger. No injuries were reported.

Indigo near 110th Road:

Keri D. Bell, 37, of 302 E. First St., Hillsboro, hit a deer with a 2000 Chevrolet Malibu at 6 a.m. July 24. Damage was estimated at more than $1,000. Bell was not injured.
