100 block of South Cedar
A Ford pickup, driven by Norman F. Epp, 69, of 402 Floral Drive, struck a gas meter at 5:55 p.m. May 1, in a yard in the 100 block of South Cedar Street.
100 block of West Grand
A parked vehicle was struck by a 1987 Pontiac driven by Juanita Harrison, 47, of 202 E. F St., at noon May 15 in a parking lot in the 100 block of West Grand Avenue. The parked vehicle was a 1993 Ford pickup owned by Dale M. Franz, 513 S. Wilson.
Main and C
According to Assistant Police Chief Jessey Hiebert, a 2003 Freightliner van driven by Mark Greene, 53, Salina, ran a stop sign at Main and C streets at 1:40 p.m. May 15, and collided with a 1991 Oldsmobile driven by Douglas Calam, 15, of 208 S. Washington. The car was registered to Richard Calam of the same address. The van was registered to Federal Express of Salina. Douglas Calam was transported by Hillsboro EMS to Hillsboro Community Hospital.
200 block of West Grand
Amber Michelle Jost, 26, of 403 S. Washington, Hillsboro, was driving a 1999 Pontiac and was waiting behind a 2002 Chevrolet pickup, driven by Michael Jones, 19, of 104 N. Birch, at 8:11 a.m. May 18, when the pickup started to cross the intersection, then stopped, which resulted in the Pontiac striking the rear of the pickup, police said.
800 block of East D Street
A hit-and-run accident occurred at 3:30 p.m. May 30 in a parking lot in the 800 block of East D Street, when a 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle, owned by Jackie L. Gage Jr., 2971 Sunflower, Lincolnville, had minor front and side damage.
