Terren Thompson, 19, of Ramona panicked when he met an approaching semi at 9:20 a.m. June 30 and lost control of his 1994 Honda Civic, Undersheriff David Huntley reported.

No injuries or citations were reported. The Civic had to be towed from a ditch.

Dylan Beekman, 22, of Junction City hit one of several deer that crossed in front of his 2010 Chevy Cobalt at 5:04 a.m. July 2. Deputy Wilma Mueller investigated.

Devorah Hilliard, 27, of Peabody, told police she fell asleep at the wheel of her 1993 Ford sedan around 12:05 a.m. Sunday before it struck a stopped 2013 Ford pickup driven by Johnny Gilkey, 33, Hillsboro. Hilliard was issued a citation accusing her of inattentive driving and failure to provide insurance information.
