According to accident reports released Friday:

SHERIFF

Quail Creek and 370th Rds.

Matthew Jenkins, 40, Ramona, lost control of his 1997 Honda Civic as he attempted a left turn from 370th Rd. onto Quail Creek Rd. and drove into a waterway at 4 a.m. Nov. 16.

Sheriff officer Wilma Mueller reported snow and ice at the intersection. The car sustained damage but was driven from the scene.

250th Rd. east of Chisholm Trail Rd.

Colton Gann, 26, Hillsboro, was driving west on 250th Rd. at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 15 when he reportedly “forgot” about a curve in the road and drove his 2011 GMC Sierra pickup into the north ditch. Officer Travis Wilson reported the truck rolled to the passenger side of the truck before coming to rest on its tires. The vehicle was towed away due to disabling damage.

US-56 and US-77

A 2005 Acura driven by Dawn De Los Reyes, 27, DeSoto, was stopped at the US-56/77 intersection at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 16 when it was struck from behind by a 2007 Infiniti X5 driven by Allie Archer, 38, Hutchinson. Officer Travis Wilson reported minor damage to the vehicles, which were both driven from the scene.

US-56 west of Falcon Rd.

Margaret Dinkel, 60, Bel Aire, struck and killed a black cow with her 2002 Ford Ranger at 9:30 p.m. Nov. 16. Officer Mike Ottensmeier reported the car was destroyed and removed by private tow.

Jefferson and D Sts.

While heading east on D St., Adan Aguero, 19, of Ennis, Texas, struck the front passenger side of a 2008 Chevrolet sedan driven by Mackenzie King, 22, of Schertz, Texas, when he allegedly attempted to make an improper left turn from the outside lane on to Jefferson St. at 1:57 p.m. Nov. 20. The collision caused damage to her vehicle and his 2006 Ford sedan. However, both drove their vehicles from the scene. Police reported no injuries.

200 block of Wilson St.

An unknown vehicle allegedly struck the left front corner of a 1996 Ford pickup owned by Douglas Dick, Hillsboro, leaving minor damage while it was legally parked in the 200 block Wilson St. between Nov. 17 and 23.
