According to accident reports released Friday:

US-56 west of Old Mill Rd.

A 2005 Honda Accord driven by Steven May, 64, Marion, struck a deer at 7:30 a.m. April 28.

The vehicle was driven from the scene.

K-15 north of 220th Rd.

A 1999 Toyota Avalon driven by Jonathan Maxfield, 42, Hillsboro, struck a deer at 8:43 p.m. April 22.

The vehicle was driven from the scene.

Wal-Mart parking lot

Barbara Tajchman, 69, of Marion, allegedly backed her 2014 Chevrolet Equinox into a parked 2005 Chevrolet Trail Blazer owned by Amanda Ratzlaff, 35, of Hillsboro. Police reports said that drivers had exchanged insurance information and agreed that Tajchman’s insurance would take care of the damage to Ratzlaff‘s vehicle.
