US-50 east of Jade Rd.
A 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Geoffrey Heaton, 39, Independence, Missouri, was westbound on US-50 at 10:20 p.m. Oct. 1 when he saw two vehicles parked on the side of the road. One vehicle was parked illegally, and Heaton reportedly thought the car was coming toward him, so he took evasive action, causing his vehicle to hit the back of one of the parked vehicles. No injuries were reported. All cars were driven from the scene.
190th and Limestone Rds.
Phoebe Hett, 16, Marion, was driving a 2013 Buick Verona, owned by David Hett, when a deer jumped out from the ditch, causing Hett’s vehicle to strike the deer at 8:24 p.m. Oct. 14. The car was driven from the scene.
Nighthawk and 50th Rds.
A 2004 Dodge Ram 2500, driven by Christopher Brooks, 25, Peabody, was navigating a curve southbound near 50th and Nighthawk Rds. along with his passenger Adam Benson, 25, Peabody, at 7:36 p.m. Oct. 10 when he observed a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta, driven by Sheryl Baker, 74, Peabody, driving northbound in the southbound lane with her passenger Brock Baker, 76, Peabody. Brooks attempted to leave the roadway to avoid collision, but Baker’s vehicle struck Brooks’ near the intersection, police reported. Baker was transported to a hospital by Peabody ambulance. Brooks’ vehicle was towed from the scene.
K-150 west of Xavier Rd.
A 2003 Honda Pilot, driven by Jacob Deselms, 30, Marion, was eastbound on K-150 at 7:50 p.m. Oct. 8 when a deer went into the roadway. Deselms was unable to avoid collision. The car was driven from the scene.
US-56 south of 330th Rd.
A 2008 Toyota Tundra, driven by Justin Savage, 20, Amarillo, Texas, was northbound on US-56 when a deer came from the ditch, causing Savage to hit it at 8:27 p.m. Oct. 11. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
190th Rd. west of Limestone Rd.
A 2000 Chevrolet Blazer, driven by Jo Gilbert, 53, Hillsboro, was westbound on 190th Rd. when she reportedly lost control, hit a stop sign and guy wire, jumped an intersection, went through a field and came back onto the road coming to a rest in the north ditch at 3:40 p.m. Oct. 9. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

E. D and S. Madison Sts.
Cyclist Dylan Delk, 22, of Peabody, sustained minor injuries when he was thrown from his bike after colliding with a 2015 Toyota Siena driven by Daniel Soldan, 32, of Hillsboro, at 5:15 p.m. Oct. 17 in a crosswalk at E. D and S. Madison Sts.
200 block of E. E. St
Two pickups collided at 6:22 p.m. Oct. 18 in the 200 block of E. E St. Police reports said Christopher Bernhardt, 34, of Hillsboro, was pulling out of an alley in his 1990 Dodge Dakota when he struck a 2012 Ford F-150 driven by Murray Koop, 62, of Hillsboro. Police said Koop was driving in the middle of the narrow road.
