According to law enforcement reports released Friday:

US-56 east of Bison Rd.

A 2010 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Mary Butler, 70, Hillsboro, was going east on US-56 when Butler reportedly fell asleep then woke up, leaving the road and hitting a culvert banister on the south side of the road at 2:09 p.m. Aug. 16. The vehicle came back onto the road and came to rest on the shoulder. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

US-50 west of 70th Rd.

Martin Clare, 53, Olathe, was eastbound on US-50 when a front tire reportedly blew out on his 1999 Dodge 2500 at 1:20 p.m. Aug. 18. Clare lost control of the vehicle and went into trees in the ditch. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

360th Rd. east of Nighthawk Rd.

A 2012 Polaris ATV owned by David Rziha, 36, Tampa, was stopped in the road way on the back side of a hill when a 1998 Chevrolet C25 driven by Alan Bentz, 62, Tampa, came over the hill and struck the ATV at 2 p.m. Aug. 20. Rziha was cited for improper parking. No injuries were reported.

Mustang Rd. north of 80th Rd.

A 2001 Ford F-15 driven by Jeremy Sears, 34, Peabody, lost power while driving on Mustang Rd. at 5 p.m. Aug. 19. Smoke came from under the hood, and flames were reportedly coming from the transmission area. Peabody fire came to put out the flames, and the vehicle, which was destroyed, was towed.

Sunrise Rd. south of 240th Rd.

A 1999 Dodge R35 driven by Thomas Oborny, 21, Marion, struck a 2004 Saturn Ion driven by Victoria Holub, 27, Marion, at 11:42 a.m. Aug. 10 after Oborny didn’t see the Saturn while he was pulling out of a field entrance. Both vehicles were driven away.

40th Rd. west of US-77

A 2000 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Donella Humphries, 59, Florence, went into a ditch after Humphries reported seeing “something” in the road at 5:49 a.m. Aug. 13. The vehicle entered a ditch, went up an embankment, traveled further into the ditch, and went through a barbed wire fence. Investigating officer Wilma Mueller cited Humphries being emotional and driving over posted speed limits as contributing to the accident.

US-50 east of 90th Rd.

Terry Bland struck a cow owned by Eric Wessel, Peabody, with a 2013 Kenworth Northwest Truck owned by Cintas Corporation at 12:28 a.m. Aug. 23.

Sunflower Rd. north of 160th Rd.

A 2014 Hyundai Sonata driven by Sarah Dye, 32, Marion, struck a deer at 6:17 p.m. Aug. 19.

US-56 west of Quail Creek Rd.

A 2009 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Dennis Bernhardt, 53, Marion, struck and killed a deer at 6:45 a.m. Aug. 23.

US-77 north of 140th Rd.

A 2015 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Carol Woerz, 72, Marion, struck a deer at 10:35 a.m. Aug. 14.

US-50 west of Union Rd.

A 2013 Ford F150 driven by David Markel, 70, Clearwater, struck a deer at 5:11 a.m. Aug. 24. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
