These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:
SHERIFF
Sunflower Rd. south of 170th Rd.
Jeremy D. James, 38, Marion, hit a deer with his 2012 Dodge Durango at 6 a.m. Aug. 31.
K-256 west of Upland Rd.
Joshua J. Smalley, 34, Peabody, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, without liability insurance, and with a suspended license and of failing to report an accident after he drove a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado into a guardrail at 9:12 p.m. Aug. 31.
Deputy Bronson Shipman’s report listed Smalley’s blood-alcohol level as 0.199, or 2½ times the legal limit. He was jailed in lieu of $3,500 surety bond.
The pickup, owned by Floyd A. Smalley of the same Peabody address, was towed.
US-50 east of Remington Rd.
Deborah S. Jarmer, 65, Garden City, hit a deer with her 2007 Saturn Outlook at 11:06 p.m. Aug. 31. Roger A. Jarmer, 67, of the same address was a passenger in the car.
290th Rd. east of Jade Rd.
Barbara K. Hanschu, 64, Ramona, hit a deer with her 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee at 6:40 a.m. Sept. 5.
