These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:
SHERIFF
Indigo Rd. North of 160th Rd.
A 2017 Ford F150 driven by Kenton D. Buller, 69, Newton, struck a deer that ran from the east ditch at 5:47 p.m. Sept. 8.
Indigo Rd. south of 160th Rd.
A 1999 Toyota Tacoma driven by Shari L. Miller, 37, Hillsboro, was struck on the passenger side by a deer that ran onto the roadway at 5:28 a.m. Sept. 7. Miller was able to drive the pickup away.
US-50 east of Sunflower Rd.
A 2015 Ford Escape driven by Carol S. Scherich, 56, Hesston, struck a deer that ran from the south ditch at 9:16 p.m. Sept. 7.
Falcon Rd. north of 110th Rd.
A 1999 Jeep Cherokee driven by Eric J. Bartel, 34, Peabody, struck a deer at 7:08 a.m. Sept. 10. Bartel was able to drive the Cherokee away.
330th Rd. west of Jade Rd.
A 2017 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Gilbert Castillo, 27, Luling, Texas, struck the rear of a 2014 Ford F250 driven by Donald L. Crowley, 35, Ellsinore, Missouri, when Crowley began making a turn onto an access road at 9:25 a.m. Sept. 10. The Silverado was towed by Auto House.
Nighthawk Rd. north of 120th Rd.
A 2011 Toyota Snapback driven by Brianna M. Nguyen, 19, Dodge City, struck a deer that ran from the east ditch at 8:50 p.m. Sept. 10.
US-50 east of Union Rd.
A 2003 Ford Focus driven by Paul J. Magathan, 66, Peabody, struck a deer in the roadway at 9:30 p.m. Sept. 13.The car was towed by Absolute Towing.
