These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

Indigo Rd. north of 120th Rd.

A 2003 Ford F-250 pickup driven by Randolph E. Rogers, 43, Wichita, struck a deer that ran onto the roadway at 9:50 p.m. Sept. 8. Rogers was able to drive the pickup away.

US-56 north of 260th Rd.

A 2017 Dodge Journey driven by Shane A. Krueger, 43, Herington, struck a deer that ran from the ditch at 6:06 p.m. Sept. 14. Krueger was able to drive the Dodge away.

US-50 west of Pawnee Rd.

A 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by Katherine E. Donaghue, 19, Wichita, struck the rear of a 1996 Chevrolet Camaro driven by Andrew Scott Mock, 17, Milton, who was stopped and waiting to turn onto Pawnee Rd. at 4:45 p.m. Sept. 15. The Camaro was pushed into the rear of a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis driven by Landon Rives, 16, Peabody. Mock and Kacie Herbel, 18, Salina, a passenger in Donaghue’s Hyundai, were taken by ambulance by St. Luke Hospital. The Hyundai and Chevrolet were towed by Auto House and the Mercury was towed by Absolute Towing.

100 block of E. Washington St., Marion

A 2009 Dodge Charger owned by the City of Marion and driven by Christopher A. Mercer, 43, Marion, struck the rear of a 1996 International 9400 that was parked at 8 a.m. Sept. 14. Mercer was able to drive the Charger away.

K-15 at 330th Rd.

A 1999 Pontiac Firebird driven by Randall Nichols, 52, Chapman, collided with a 2015 Ford Explorer driven by Aaron Herbel, 28, Tampa, when Herbel drove into the Firebird’s path at 7 p.m. Sept. 16. Herbel reported he did not see the Pontiac coming when he pulled away from a stop sign to cross the highway. Both vehicles were removed by Absolute Towing.
