SHERIFF

K-150 west of Clover Rd.

Richard J. Hein, 76, Marion, hit a deer with his 2010 Lincoln MKS at 9:37 p.m. Dec. 15.

Indigo Rd. south of 150th Rd.

Elmer Delk, 96, Hillsboro, hit a deer with his 1998 Chevrolet C15 at 9:30 p.m. Dec. 15.

160th Rd. west of Limestone Rd.

James D. Janzen, 39, Hillsboro, hit a deer with his 2015 Chevrolet Silverado at 7:09 p.m. Dec. 19.

Highway Patrol

US-56 at 340th Rd.

Jordan L. Daniels, 28, Great Bend, was driving his 2009 Chevrolet Impala northbound when Sue E. Talbot, 71, Marion, also driving northbound, slowed her 2013 Buick Encore to turn onto 340th Rd. and Daniels’ Impala rear-ended the Encore. Talbot was taken by ambulance to St. Luke Hospital in Marion.
