These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:
HILLSBORO
Sonic Drive-In
Nathan D. Koci, 19, Wichita, did minor damage at 7:35 a.m. Dec. 27 when he hit a Sonic Drive-In awning with a 2002 GMC owned by Elite Transportation of Wichita.
SHERIFF
US-77 north of 5th St., Florence
Amanda D. Adams, 34, El Dorado, told deputies she fell asleep and allowed a 1994 Mercury Grand Marquis owned by Dustin R. Gulick of Augusta to strike a utility pole at 3:16 p.m. Dec. 21.
She did not report being injured, but the car had to be towed.
US-56 east of Mustang Rd.
Katherine E. Evans, 17, rural Marion, hit a deer with a 2012 GMC Canyon at 10 p.m. Dec. 21. The truck, owned by Rebecca Evans of the same address, did not require a tow.
K-15 north of 70th Rd.
Gail K. Rohloff, 69, Cheney, was taken to Newton Medical Center after her 2013 Mazda CX9 hit an icy spot at 9 a.m. Dec. 23 and skidded into a ditch, striking an embankment and damaging a fence owned by Darrel D. Schroeder.
Passenger Lowell H. Rohloff, 78, of the same address did not report injuries, but the car had to be towed.
US-77 south of US-50
Austin R. Miller, 22, Junction City, notified deputies the next day that he had hit a coyote with his 2016 Nissan Juke at 10:43 p.m. Dec. 26.
US-56 east of K-15
Larry W. Schafer, 55, Durham, hit a raccoon at 8:22 p.m. Dec. 27 while driving a 2018 Dodge Journey owned by Ean Holdings of Springfield, Missouri.
US-56 west of Limestone Rd.
Makayla R. Farmer, 24, Marion, hit a deer with her 2017 Buick Encore at 5:55 p.m. Dec. 28. The Buick had to be towed.
US-56 south of 270th Rd.
Jason H. Cho, 32, Fort Riley, hit a deer with his 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan at 6:15 p.m. Jan. 3.
