These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:
SHERIFF
190th Rd. east of Limestone Rd.
Margaret A. Clark, 20, Olpe, hit a deer with her 2011 Chevrolet Impala at 10:30 p.m. April 6.
Quail Creek Rd. north of 130th Rd.
Katherine J. Heiser, 57, Ramona, hit a deer with her 2011 Toyota Camry at 7:15 a.m. April 9.
120th Rd. at Eagle Rd.
Elmer A. Carson, 68, Peabody, was driving his 2002 Ford F-15 east of 120th Rd. when he tried to pass a 1948 Ford F3 truck driven by Colton L. Brock, 14, Hillsboro, at 3:35 p.m. April 5. Brock was turning left onto Eagle Rd. Neither Carson, Brock, nor Brock’s passenger, Karletta L. Brock, 53, Hillsboro, reported injury. The Ford F-15 was towed. Carson was cited for improper passing.
K-15 south of 290th Rd.
Charles W. Loewen, 66, Hillsboro, was backing a 2014 Chevrolet 1500 out of a driveway at 9:50 a.m. April 6 when he struck the side of a 2006 Mercury Milan driven by Donita L. Rhodes, 64, Tampa,
190th Rd. east of Quail Creek Rd.
Theresa L. Ross, 57, Newton, hit a deer with her 2009 Toyota RAV at 7:30 a.m. April 2.
Indigo Rd. north of 130th Rd.
Joseph G. Catron, 37, Hillsboro, was driving a 2017 Honda motorcycle on Indigo Rd. at 1 p.m. April 9 when the motorcycle left the right side of the roadway, entered the ditch and overturned, sending Catron into the air. The motorcycle came to rest against a tree. Catron was taken to Wesley Medical Center.
Hillsboro
200 block of W. Grand Ave.
Stephen C. Stafford, 70, Hillsboro was backing out of a driveway in a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country at 2:25 p.m. April 4 when he crashed into the 2006 Buick Rendezvous of Clifford R. Ediger, Hillsboro, driven by Diana C. Ediger, 58, Hillsboro. Ediger had turned from Lincoln onto Grand Ave., and was headed west when Stafford backed into her. The damage to both vehicles was minor.
300 block of N. Main St.
Corey J. Brandt, 19, Hillsboro, was backing out of his driveway at 7:50 a.m. April 8 when he hit pedestrian Lori J. Borg, Hillsboro. Borg was uninjured and able to walk under her own power.
US-56 at Santa Fe Rd.
Brandon Koehn, 38, Galva, was driving a 2016 Kenworth semi owned by Bill Unruh Trucking, Canton, at 6:50 a.m. April 8 when his trailer disconnected and came down on the road. Koehn had stopped on Santa Fe Rd. headed north, and was attempting to make a left turn westbound onto US-56 when the trailer unhitched. The trailer was able to be reattached.
