SHERIFF
190th Rd. west of Old Mill Rd.
T. Michelle Avis, 44, Hillsboro, hit a deer with her 2002 Mazda Tribute at 11:22 p.m. Sept. 7.
Remington Rd. south of 260th Rd.
Courtney L. Cole, 24, Tampa, went off the road in a 1996 Buick LeSabre owned by Brad D. Cole, Tampa, while looking at her phone, then overcorrected while pulling back onto the roadway at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 5. She was taken by ambulance to Hillsboro Community Hospital. The car was towed.
US-56 south of 330th Rd.
Ashley Klein, 31, Lincolnville, hit a deer with her 2012 Nissan Sentra at 6:25 a.m. Sept. 9.
US-56 at US-77
Andre D. Leven, 67, Manhattan, lost control of his 2008 Honda motorcycle while driving through the roundabout, and the motorcycle laid on its side, sending Leven sliding down the road at 11 a.m. Sept. 9. He was taken by ambulance to St. Luke Hospital.
US-56 south of 240th Rd.
Elijah S. Mason, 20, Newton, fell asleep at the wheel of his 2009 Jeep, which exited the road, ramped a field entrance, then re-entered the roadway before coming to a complete stop at 5:45 p.m. Sept. 8.
Zebulon Rd. north of 210th Rd.
Charles L. McClindon, 55, Marion, hit four horses with his 2001 Chevrolet C3500 at 5:45 a.m. Sept. 4.
Sunflower Rd. north of 120th Rd.
A 2019 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Ivan L. Nordquist, 50, Marion, and a 2018 Ford F350 driven by Keith P. Timmerman, 54, Peabody, both driven close to the centerline, struck side mirrors at 4:45 p.m. Sept. 6. Neither Nordquist, Timmerman, nor Nordquist’s passenger, Jana M. Nordquist, 51, Marion, reported injury.
Old Mill Rd. north of 20th Rd.
Christopher J. Stucky, 45, Peabody, hit a cow with his 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 at 9:50 p.m. Sept. 7.
