These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

Marion

400 block of E. Main St.

An 11-year-old bicyclist was riding through a crosswalk when she crossed in front of a 1994 Buick Regal driven by Duwayne W. Garrett, 52, Marion, who hit her at 3:30 p.m. March 2 in the 400 block of E. Main St. According to police reports, Garrett was driving the speed limit.

The girl was taken to St. Luke Hospital for a leg injury and was later transferred to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

SHERIFF

K-15 north of 150th Rd.

Tyler M. Huxman, 18, Moundridge, hit a deer at 8:38 p.m. Feb. 29 with a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado owned by Christopher S. Huxman, Moundridge. Neither Huxman nor his passenger, Connie A. Shott, 16, McPherson, reported injury.

340th Rd. west of Timber Rd.

Steven A. Katz, 35, Hillsboro, hit a deer at 6:10 p.m. Feb. 28 with his 2014 Ford Edge.

Jade Rd. north of 210th Rd.

Marilyn F. Ratzlaff, 85, Hillsboro, hit a deer at 8:15 p.m. Feb. 29 with her 2014 Buick Enclave.

US-256 at 190th Rd.

Marlene E. Eitzen, 80, Hillsboro, ran through a stop sign at 12:50 p.m. March 2 and struck a mile marker sign southeast of the intersection with her 2019 Chevrolet Silverado.
