These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

Jade Rd. north of 260th Rd.

Courtney E. Talkington, 19, Abilene, lost control of a 1999 Toyota 4Runner owned by Anthony C. Donaue, 18, Abilene, at 1 p.m. May 3. The Toyota left the roadway and overturned. Neither Talkington nor Donaue reported injury.

US-56 east of Kanza Rd.

Curtis R. Penner, 82, Lehigh, hit a deer at 3 p.m. May 5 with his 2005 Mercury GMQ.

US-50 west of Wagonwheel Rd.

Jacob A. Miller, 22, Hutchinson, hit a deer at 3:35 p.m. May 6 with a 2011 Hyundai Sonata owned by Jonathan M. Miller, Hutchinson.

MARION

400 block of S. 5th St.

Ivan L. Nordquist, Marion, 51, was pulling into a diagonal parking stall in his 2013 Jeep Wrangler at 4 p.m. May 6 in the 400 block of S. 5th St. when he crashed into an open driver’s side door of a 2019 Hyundai Sonata owned by Lori E. Kelsey, Marion, that was parked in the stall to Nordquist’s right.
