These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

US-56 west of Falcon Rd.

A 1995 Oldsmobile 88 owned by Mark Conner, Hillsboro, caught fire at 5:55 p.m. May 29 while being driven by Crystal S. Stryker, 31, Hillsboro. Neither Stryker nor passenger Maria Zimmer, 13, Hillsboro, reported injury. The Oldsmobile was towed.

190th Rd. west of Quail Creek Rd.

Megan N. Neufeld, 17, Marion, was injured when she lost control of a 2008 Ford F150 owned by Darin J. Neufeld of Marion at 7:29 p.m. May 29. The Ford left the road, overturned, and came to rest on its wheels. Neufeld was taken by ambulance to St. Luke Hospital. Deputy Derek Fetrow’s report blamed the accident on inattentive driving. No tickets were issued.

Indigo Rd. north of 70th Rd.

Karen D. Fryhover, 47, Hillsboro, hit a deer at 12:25 a.m. May 30 with a 2007 Ford Explorer owned by Mary C. McClure, Hillsboro. Fryhover reported possible injuries but was not taken to a hospital. Passengers Robert Boots, 53, Wichita, and Mary Schofield, 35, Hillsboro, did report injury. Fryhover’s Ford had to be towed.

Remington Rd. south of 170th Rd.

April N. Fore, 32, Peabody, lost control of a 2011Toyota RAV while being pursued by police at 9:31 a.m. June 1. The Toyota, owned by James Williams, Marion, overturned, hit a ditch and hedgerow, and rolled onto the driver’s side. She was taken by ambulance to St. Luke Hospital. The Toyota was towed. Deputy Travis Wilson’s report said she was driving too fast, on the wrong side of the road, overcorrected and did not have a driver’s license. She was not arrested or ticketed. A report will be filed with the county attorney’s office.

K-168 north of US-56

Michael A. Sechler, 69, Hillsboro, hit a deer with his 1999 GMC Sierra at 7:15 p.m. June 1.

Diamond Rd. south of 220th Rd.

Abigail G. Bernhardt, 20, Lehigh, hit a deer with her 2014 Jeep Cherokee at 1:45 p.m. June 2.
