REPORTED
These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:
SHERIFF
Pawnee Rd. south of 80th Rd.
Marcy R. Ehrlich, 50, Burns, hit two goats while driving a Peabody-Burns school bus at 3:45 p.m. Aug. 30.
Passengers at the time included rural Peabody residents Levi Chapman, 8; Dawson Fowler, 10; Natalie Fowler, 16; McKenzie McSwan, 7; William McSwan, 8; and Kylen Starnes, 5.
Also on board were Burns residents Chyanne Aydelott, 15; Aries Baldwin, 18; Chayse Bozman, 6; Jayden Bozman, 7; Dalton Castleberry, 10; Christofer Cliff, 6; Orson Dunning, 3; Adrianna Hacker, 16; Katie Huls, 14; Colton Johnson, 10; Ashton Percival, 16; and Aiden Phillips, 10.
The goats were owned by Virginia A. Skinner of Peabody. The bus sustained damage characterized as minor.
US-56 west of K-168
Sandy Alarcon, 58, Garden City, hit a deer at 8:31 p.m. Sept. 2 with her 2012 Jeep Compass. Mario Alarcon, 57, and Lindsey Alarcon, 15, of the same address were passengers at the time.
K-15 north of 300th Rd.
Mason L. Meyer, 17, rural Tampa, hit a deer at 8:56 p.m. Sept. 4 with a 2006 Jeep Liberty owned by Keith D. Meyer of the same address.
US-50 west of Wagonwheel Rd.
Patrick Castillo, 59, Counselor, New Mexico, hit a deer at 8:23 p.m. Sept. 5 with his 2018 Kia Sportage, which sustained disabling front-end and undercarriage damage and was towed.
Meridian Rd. south of 290th Rd.
Christopher S. Thompson, 34, rural Canton, hit a deer at 6:33 a.m. Sept. 7 with a 2020 Dodge Ram 150 owed by Geico Fleet Trust, Milford. Despite sustaining damage characterized as disabling, the truck was removed by Thompson.
