These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

US-77 south of 40th Rd.

Russell W. Wilkey, 19, Junction City, hit a deer at 10:47 p.m. Oct. 29 while driving a 2013 Lincoln MKZ owned by Jodie Wilkey of the same address. Adam W. Wilkey, 45, also of the same address, was a passenger. The car sustained disabling damage to its front, hood, and driver side and was towed.

US-50 west of Union Rd.

Peter M. Machutta II, 36, Manhattan, hit a deer at 12:32 a.m. Nov. 1 with his 2018 Chevrolet Impala. The car sustained damage to its driver side and front but remained drivable.

US-50 west of Sunflower Rd.

Joseph G. Baker, 25, Andover, hit a deer at 5:50 p.m. Nov. 1 while driving a 2012 Ford Escape owned by Sunflower Broadcasting, operator of KWCH-TV (Channel 12), Wichita. The sport-utility vehicle sustained moderate damage to its front but remained functional.

US-77 south of Wagon Wheel Rd.

Melissa A. Ramsey, 48, Florence, hit a deer at 6:25 a.m. Nov. 2 with her 2012 Cadillac SRX. The SUV sustained damage categorized as disabling to its driver-side front end but was removed without a tow truck being called.

US-50/77 roundabout

A hit-and-run driver in a blue pickup reportedly struck the rear passenger-side corner of a 2014 Ford Focus owned and driven by Dayla D. Nelson, 60, Florence, as she was attempting to exit the roundabout at 5 p.m. Nov. 2 onto Florenceā€™s 8th St. The car sustained damage categorized as moderate but remained drivable.

US-56 west of Remington Rd.

Jennifer R. Hess, 51, Marion, hit a deer at 7:41 a.m. Friday with her 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which sustained damage to its front, hood, and undercarriage but remained drivable.
