ACCIDENTS
REPORTED
These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:
SHERIFF
K-15 north of 240th Rd.
A blowout caused Kyran J. Wiebe, 16, rural Tampa, to lose control of a 1998 Peterbilt farm semi-trailer truck at 8:04 p.m. July 17.
The truck, owned by Dalton L. Wiebe of the same address, crossed over K-15 and turned on its side in the left ditch, striking a mailbox owned by Andrew W. Klassen in the process.
The truck, classified as destroyed in deputy Peyton Heidebrecht’s report, sustained extensive damage to its front and was towed.
K-15 south of 150th Rd.
Troy B. Hett, 49, rural Tampa, hit a deer at 11:41 p.m. July 19 with his 2015 GMC Sierra, which remained drivable despite front-end damage.
Bernice A. Mains, 55, of the same address was a passenger at the time.
Remington Rd. south of 290th Rd.
Alexandria B. Bearup, 23, rural Marion, hit a deer at 9:15 p.m. July 19 with her 2016 Chevrolet Colorado, which remained drivable despite damage to its front, right, and hood.
