Adam Hall of Lee’s Summit, Mo., received his Eagle Scout award from Boy Scouts of America Aug. 15 in Lee’s Summit. Eagle Scout is the highest honor the Boy Scouts awards.
Darla Hall of Lee’s Summit is his mother. Tom and Dee Duggan of Tampa are his grandparents.
For his required community service project, he planned and conducted a collection drive for baby items to benefit Lee’s Summit social services.
He and a team of volunteers collected 4,218 packaged diapers, 100 baby wipes containers, 78 packages of baby wipes refills, 107 cans of formula, 372 jars of baby food, 308 plastic packs of baby food, 92 boxes of cereal and rice, 47 bottles of baby hygiene products, 22 juice and snack food packages, and about 100 articles of used baby clothes and bottles.
Hall began his scouting experience in Cub Scouts. In 2001, he earned the Arrow of Light award, the highest honor in Cub Scouts. He then joined Troop 366 in Lee’s Summit.
He is a 2010 graduate of Lee’s Summit West High School and is studying digital film production and Spanish at Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo.
