Last week was a slow week at AGAPE. There was a good turnout for the birthday celebrations on Wednesday.

On Friday, during arts and crafts, planning on holiday projects was begun.

In the next week, “chair dancing” to a video on Wednesday will provide fun and a bit of exercise. Thursday, Lindsborg will be here for pool. Everyone is welcome.

On Friday, during arts and crafts, a list of supplies will be compiled for the upcoming holiday projects.

A Halloween dress-up party will be Oct. 31.

Upcoming events in November include open enrollment in Medicare Part D with Gayla Ratzlaff’s assistance Nov. 3 and 10; flu shots, 3 to 5 p.m. Nov. 8 from Marion County Health Department. Schedule appointments for either event with Jenny Girard at (620) 367-2275.

In coming weeks, Girard will be posting the schedule for Thanksgiving meal deliveries, as the center will be closed Nov. 24 and 25. Please remember to call before noon the business day before you would like to dine at AGAPE or for meal delivery.
