Algae warning downgraded

Last week’s blue-green algae warning for Marion Reservoir was downgraded Thursday to a watch.

No restrictions on boating or fishing are in place. However, visitors should wash with clean water after coming in contact with lake water.

A more serious warning, curtailing lake activity, was ordered for Milford Reservoir.

No warnings or watches are in effect for Marion County Lake.
