Alumnus receives livestock scholarship

Centre alumnus Zach Barney was named Tuesday as a recipient of a $1,500 Douglas A. Laue Memorial Scholarship from Kansas Livestock Foundation.

A junior in Kansas State University’s feed science program, Barney is one of 28 students receiving the scholarship, which is offered to juniors and seniors pursuing agricultural degrees at Kansas State University or Fort Hays State University.
