Angel Tree applications available

Applications for Hillsboro’s Angel Tree are available at Hillsboro State Bank, USD 410 schools, and Hillsboro churches.

The Angel Tree is a giving opportunity to make sure people in the community have gifts for Christmas.

Applicants are asked to provide proof of income. If the family receives free and reduced meals at school, they qualify.

Forms must be completed by the applicant. Applications will not be accepted for another person or in another’s name.

Once the application is accepted, it will be hung on the tree for donors to choose. On the back of each angel, a list of what the child wants and needs gives the donors gift ideas.

Participants will be identified by a number, not a name.

Forms are due to Hillsboro State Bank by Nov. 30.
