Gaylord and Valera Hamm, Durham, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Oct. 1.

They were married Oct. 1, 1948, at Florence.

They will be guests of honor Oct. 11 at a family dinner hosted by their children, Larry and Bonnie Winter of Silver Lake, Ron and Barbara Williams of Glempool, Okla., and Jim and Myrna Hamm of Tampa, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
