Couple to celebrate anniversary

Ladd and Lucy (Spencer) Helmer, who were married June 21, 1970, at Marion Christian Church, will celebrate their golden anniversary Sunday.

The couple lived for a few months in Marion before moving to their farm in rural Marion.

A family trip to Missouri with children Tracie (and husband Steve) Waner, Terri (and husband Jeff) Bina, Charlie (and wife Keri) Helmer, and Amy (and husband Randy) Boudreaux and their 12 grandchildren has been postponed until a later date because of COVID-19.
