A band camp is planned for Hillsboro students, grades eight through 12.

The camp is 9 a.m. to noon July 27 through 29 with a parade at 5:30 p.m. July 29 in the HHS band room.

Band members are reminded to wear appropriate marching shoes — no flip flops, slippers, or shoes without a strap behind the heel of the foot.

A free band T-shirt will be given to those who attend rehearsals and the parade. The shirts are $12 for those who cannot attend the camp. Checks should be made payable to Hillsboro High School.

The annual car wash will be 1 to 3 p.m. July 28. The location will be announced.
