Arlene K. “Hett” Sittner, 70, died Aug. 28 at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson. Born February 27, 1941, in Marion to Homer and Wilma Bowers Hett, she was a graduate of Westmar College and received her master’s degree from Kansas State University. She was a home economics teacher. She was an active member of the Peace Church of Hudson.

On July 21, 1972, she married Marvin Sittner in Marion. He survives. Other survivors include a brother Warren Hett of Dighton, a sister Ruth Snodgrass of Santa Barbara, Calif., and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral was Thursday at the Peace Church with pastor Wade Russell officiating. Burial will be at Peace Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the Church in care of Minnis Chapel 125 N Main, Stafford KS 67578.
