Art Suderman, 80, formerly of Hillsboro died Sept. 26 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita. He was born May 6, 1932, in Hillsboro to Dan M. and Edna (Harder) Suderman.

He was a farmer all his life.

He married Harriet Klaassen on Aug. 12, 1954 in Hillsboro.

He is survived by his wife, Harriet; two sons, Glen Suderman of Garnett and David Suderman of Wichita; three daughters, Debi Foth of Kerman, Calif., Lori Thurston of Hillsboro, and Roxi Klein of Hillsboro; two brothers, Dale and Ron Suderman of Hillsboro; one sister, Elva Suderman of Hillsboro; 13 grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

Services were Monday at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church with Pastor Loyal Martin officiating. Burial was in Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Cemetery prior to the ceremony.

Memorial funds have been set up with World Impact and Tabor College.
