The Hillsboro Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary will have a bake and book sale 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday in the Hillsboro Community Hospital front lobby at 701 S. Main St.

The proceeds from the sale will go toward buying an ultra-sound machine for the HCH emergency room. The machine costs $1,500.
