Hillsboro Elementary students, their families, and members of the public can celebrate the beginning of school at a back to school carnival Friday.

The carnival begins at 5:30 p.m. at Hillsboro Elementary School, and will feature games, face painting, professional photo booth, cake walk, and dunk tank.

A meal deal of a hamburger, chips, cookie, and water will be available for $5, along with sno-cones and popcorn.

The carnival is sponsored by Hillsboro Elementary School Site Council.
