The Kansas Barn Alliance will present BarnFest 2013 Oct. 4 and 5 in Marion County.

The weekend will include a learning session related to barn preservation Friday and barn tours Saturday.

Dinner will be at 5 p.m. Oct. 4 at Marion County Park and Lake Hall. Ron Wilson a cowboy poet from Manhattan will provide entertainment.

A light breakfast will be served Oct. 5 at the Marion Community Center before boarding a tourism bus and touring four barns.
