Eric and Bethany Carlson of Marion announce the birth of their son, Aaron Maurice Carlson, on Aug. 24 at Newton Medical Center. He weighed 7 lbs., 6 ounces and was 18.75 inches long.

He was welcomed home by his siblings, 5-year-old Olivia and 2-year-old Micah.

His grandparents are Ronnie and Susan Carlson of Lincolnville and Roy and Linda Baker of Council Grove. His great-grandparents are Joyce and Ruth Ann Carlson of Lincolnville, Clarence Baker and Walter Wood of North Carolina, and Theresa Griffin of Mississippi.
