Steve and Jeanie Bartel of rural Marion County announce the birth of a daughter, Emma Catherine Bartel, Nov. 19, 2008, at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina.

She weighed 7 pounds 5 ounces and was 20 inches long.

She has a brother, Seth, 15, and two sisters, Hannah, 12, and Amanda, 8.

Grandparents are Nelson and Martha Chupp of Chouteau, Okla., Shirley Bartel of Hillsboro, and the late Gilbert Bartel.

Linda Bartel of Hillsboro is her great-grandmother.
