The American Red Cross will have a blood drive from 1 to 6 p.m. Aug. 19 at Hillsboro United Methodist Church, 905 E. D St., Hillsboro.

A single donation can help save up to three lives.

Anybody who donates blood before Sept. 5 will be entered in a drawing for a $250 gas card.
