Bluebirds lose despite Meyer’s season high
Stephany Meyer notched a season high 26 points with baskets from set plays, steals and layups, and offensive rebounds.
Despite her stellar performance, the Bluebirds failed to keep pace with the Little River Redskins at Friday night’s basketball game.
Goessel trailed at the breaks, 20-14, 30-23, and 38-29. Little River went on an 11-2 run in the fourth quarter which sealed the win 52-37.
Goessel girls are now 3-4 in the Wheat State League and 4-11 overall.
