Retired Union Pacific conductor Bruce A. Beeton, 65, died Wednesday at his home in Herington.

Born June 22, 1951, he was preceded in death by his father, Darrell R. Beeton, and by his mother and stepfather, Wilma J. (Richmond) and Kenneth Pigorsch.

Survivors include brothers Brent Pigorsch, Lincolnville, and Brad Pigorsch, Gypsum; son Brooks Beeton, Lincolnville; daughter Brea Beeton, West Monroe, Louisiana; stepson Ryan Sullivan, Bossier City, Louisiana; stepdaughters Elissa Cordle, Kelley Lowe, and Jill Wright, Salina; longtime companion Kim Crawford, Herington; and six grandchildren.

Services were Monday. Memorials have been established with Hospice of Dickinson County and Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Herington.
