Bud Radtke

Bud Radtke, 71, Marion, passed away January 10, 2021 at Newton Medical Center.

A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Elmdale Cemetery, rural Elmdale, officiated by Pastor Carl Helm. Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro, with the family present from 4 to 6 p.m.

He was born Sept. 15, 1949, in Valley City, North Dakota, to Floyd and Florence (Priebe) Radtke. He married Chris Moody July 30, 1977, in Salina.

Survivors include wife Chris Radtke of rural Marion; sons Travis (and his wife, Amy) Radtke of Marion, Trent (and his wife, Robyn) Radtke of Marion; daughters Tammy Koch of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Traci (and her husband, Aaron) Helmer of Marion; sisters Linda (and her husband, Bill) Peterman of Wichita, Gloria Machett of High Springs, Florida; brother-in-law Mark Peske of Ypsilanti, North Dakota; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Karen Peske.
